The first image I chose because it has a pattern that is intricate and delicate but that is simple at the same time. It's a mixture of lines in a repetitive set of gesture but with the different types of lines and directions, it seems busy. The colours make it harmonic and also at the same time it makes it busy and energy. The lines make a movement at the same time. It can be cloth, placemat, handcraft work, reminds me of Africa and a safari, or a rug. It also seems coarse and fluid at the same time.

I chose this one because it's asymmetrical and that there's two textures contrary to each other that is juxtaposing each other in the same space. Both are concrete. Yet one is more solid which is you see as the interlocking and mundane brick and stone pattern. The other pattern is more sporadic and fluid and seems to be more of a movement of gestures. It isn't solid but the concrete makes it a solid substance. It reminds me of blowing through a straw at drops of paint and watch it spread across the page.

This one I chose because it tells three stories in one. It shows smooth texture at the bottom. It shows the middle to be more worked on and that is carved and indented through time exposure. It feels visceral as if someone took a carving knife to it. It would feel bumpy if I feel my hands run across it. Lastly the top layer shows that it has some damage and is more like a wrinkled hand or the lines that run across our palms of our hands.
