This image spoke to me because the red is vibrant and the mood is energetic. I liked the strokes of the lines that were organic and give an atmosphere of flowing and splashing across the canvas. This made me think of red wine splashing into the glass or spilling over the glass and love the vibrancy of the red that will  emphasis the richness of the wine.

The idea for my red wine label was to create a vivacious and energetic mood of red wine. I wanted the wine drinker to feel that energy and feel alive and passion when they drink it. The hype frame that I used was the Simple Ballistic where I changed the values of the trigger points, colour values via colour pool, and size of the points of the ballistic point. There are 2 different ballistic points to show depth and variety and they're triggered randomly. The blobs become lines that stream down and that show that motion of pouring wine in a glass.

The red wine was to spill over the glass. The spillage is conveying having a good time and that the party doesn't stop since it's spilling over the wine glass. The background is a pink champagne colour that still makes the ballistic points be the focal point and unifies it. The wine is called "Le Vin de Vie", which means the wine of life and the tagline is 'Let's Celebrate'. The red wine is to drink at a party scene. The spillage was created by copying, moving, and pasting the same layer over again that creates the illusion that the wine is spilling over and that each spill is happening at different times.

Label Design for Red Wine

This is the image of the red wine label on the bottle. This was the final design of the red wine. The bottle is a shade of purple to fit in the family of purples and reds. The label is wrapped in the front of the bottle. The bottle was created with the 3D revolve tool in Illustrator and just made the outline of one side of the bottle. The text, spillage and red wine was made into a symbol and then 3D mapped on it. The colour choice for the bottle is to unify the label with the bottle and to give a classy look and a punch of colour also.
